The UPEI Faculty Association is currently negotiating its second

collective agreement with the university administration. Academic

staff at UPEI have been without a contract since July 1, 2005.

This "PARITY" button signifies that:

our work at UPEI is as valuable as that done by colleagues at other Atlantic Canadian universities

UPEIFA members expect fair remuneration for their work

UPEIFA members expect a fair workload

maintaining excellent programs requires an investment in quality working conditions for UPEIFA members

In other words, we deserve an equitable agreement

that brings us parity with academic staff at other

Atlantic Canadian universities!
